Josiane, esthéticienne, mène une vie aussi lisse que la peau qu’elle promet à ses clientes. Le jour où elle demande son passeport biométrique, elle fait une découverte qui la bouleverse... Si administrativement tout se complique, c’est surtout Josiane qui vacille. Peu à peu, le quotidien se craquelle, les souvenirs refont surface, révélant la femme qu’elle n’a jamais cessé d’être.

Née en 1975, Sophie Prat a étudié l’histoire médiévale. La découverte de la musique techno dans les années 1990 l’amène à s’engager pour la reconnaissance des cultures électroniques et à devenir la directrice de l’association organisatrice de la première Techno Parade en 1998. Se rêvant aventurière, elle entreprend plusieurs voyages à moto à travers le monde, dont un périple solitaire au Japon, qu’elle raconte dans la presse spécialisée.
Conceptrice-rédactrice depuis dix ans pour des agences de communication, elle se forme aujourd’hui à la biographie hospitalière afin de recueillir et transmettre en récit la parole de personnes en fin de vie.
Amoureuse du bivouac sauvage, elle demeure à Paris mais veille à passer chaque mois une nuit en pleine nature. London 53 est son premier roman.

Born in 1975, Sophie Prat studied medieval history. Discovering techno music in the 1990s led her to campaign for the recognition of electronic cultures and to become the director of the association that organized the first Techno Parade in 1998. Dreaming of being an adventurer, she undertook several motorcycle journeys around the world, including a solo trip across Japan, which she recounted in the specialized press.
A copywriter and creative strategist for communication agencies for the past ten years, she is now training in hospital biography, with the aim of collecting and conveying, through storytelling, the words of people at the end of their lives.
In love with wild camping, she lives in Paris but makes a point of spending one night in the heart of nature every month. London 53 is her first novel.
